Just think of all the different searches you have done over the years. I bet there are over hundreds and thousands of them (Maybe more for tech users). Well what if some one stored those searches? How hard would it be to track you down, not very hard. AOL released (by accident) 500,000 users’ searches! And NYT has already tracked one of them down. No. 4417749 is now know as Thelma Arnold. In the release of data there were 3 months worth of searches by this person. 3 months worth data is all it took to track this person down.

Scary Stuff.
